Financial aid for international students

Connecticut College meets the full demonstrated financial aid need of all applicants who apply for financial aid at the time of admission, regardless of citizenship.  Depending on the level of demonstrated financial need, financial aid packages may cover the full cost of tuition, fees, housing, food, books, supplies, and health insurance.  Admission is highly competitive to Connecticut College.  We look for students who have shown outstanding academic ability, a high level of competence in English, and notable non-academic involvement.

The most important step in the financial aid process is for you to provide financial information about you and your family.

See application requirements and deadlines for international students.

When you have been admitted to the College, a financial aid package will accompany your acceptance letter if you have applied for need based financial aid and submitted all application requirements. Typically, financial aid is in the form of a grant. The amount of the grant is dependent upon demonstrated financial need.

At a minimum, all international students are expected to fund transportation costs and personal expenses.

Once you review your financial aid package, you are encouraged to contact our staff with any questions. Due to delays in international mail, please email or fax your inquiries.
