As an international student, you should not expect to receive need based financial aid during your years at Connecticut College unless you apply for financial aid during the admission process and are eligible at the time you are admitted. However, our office does review significant changes in family circumstances in future years for consideration of financial aid eligibility. More information about international student costs can be found here.

*Please note: It is highly recommended to complete and submit your Common Application before you complete any part of the financial aid application.  This will allow our system to process your financial aid application materials more efficiently.  Also, your applicant portal will not reflect your financial aid materials until mid-November when all system upgrades for the 2024-2025 academic year are in place.

Returning International Students

In an effort to reduce the number of items international students need to provide, we are no longer requiring returning students to submit financial aid application materials annually. Eligibility for need-based aid will be based on information that was submitted as part of their initial application for aid. International students/families have the option of requesting a formal review of their current/changing financial situation. To do so, please contact the Financial Aid Services Office to determine the required information.
