Connecticut College will be among eight schools competing in the NESCAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament beginning this weekend, as the Camels face off against seventh-seeded Hamilton on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 12 p.m. on their home turf.

The Camels, who earned the second seed, their highest ever, will look to capture their first league title in program history and are also positioned to clinch an NCAA Tournament berth in consecutive years for the first time in program history.

The winner of the NESCAC Championship match on Sunday, Nov. 4, will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament.

Connecticut College (12-1-2, NESCAC 7-1-2) has most notably relied on one of the top defenses in the country. The back line led by Tyler Hoadley ’19, Freddy Stokes ’20, Liam Donelan ’21 and Luke Stoneback ’22 has only surrendered three goals, which ranks second nationally, and registered 12 shutouts to date.

Sophomore netminder AJ Marcucci, who was recognized as the 2017 NESCAC Rookie of the Year, ranks among the top five goalkeepers in the country with a .947 save percentage and an 0.20 goals against average.

Fans can follow the match live beginning at noon on Sunday.
